Master Bath

This ongoing master bath redesign posed a unique challenge. At 225 square feet, lack of space was not the issue, but rather a lack of organization and purposeful flow. The absence of a door meant the space also lacked privacy from the adjacent bedroom and its large windows. 

 

Our goal was to create a functional flow through the space that centered on our client's routines and broke up the large footprint into distinct areas. The addition of a pocket door created privacy between the bedroom and the bathroom and the removal of the glass shower walls in favor of tiled partitions took the shower from feeling like a fishbowl to a private walk in retreat.
